Jason Cherry, PT, MS, COMT
With over 9 years in
practice, Jason opened the Belmar
Physical Therapy Clinic in November 2004 because he had a
clear vision: to help everyone that walks in the clinic. He
organized the practice so that he and his staff could have
the flexibility to spend the time required to truly give
individual care 100% of the time.
Jason
received his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from
California State University-Northridge in 1993 and his
Masters degree in Physical Therapy from Boston University in
1999. To stay current with medical advances, Jason
has furthered his education by attending numerous continuing
courses and is currently obtaining a Doctorate of Physical
Therapy degree from Regis University. He is certified in
Orthopedic Manual Therapy through the International Academy
of Orthopedic Medicine. In addition, he has taught courses
in manual therapy in the USA and UK.
Jason
enjoys working with a wide variety of patients from the
homemaker to the professional athlete. He feels that every
patient, no matter what their background, has the same
ultimate goal: to reach the highest functional level
possible for that particular individual. For that
reason, Jason believes in treating every patient specific to
their individual needs. The ability to perform manual
therapy, prescribe function specific exercises and use
outcomes-guided practice is what sets Jason apart.
Jason
played NCAA Division 1 soccer and now enjoys competitive
mountain and road bike racing. He and his wife Michele are
active in many outdoor activities and they reside in
Lakewood, CO.
